How You Can Help

Operation Frontline Candy encourages sending candy, snack foods, jerky, trail mix, energy bars and cookies to the troops.

To receive your free listing in Candy & Snack TODAY and be registered as a donor, you must fill out the official Donation Form.

Care packs are assembled during two major campaigns every year. Any shipments must be received within the specified donation period to be eligible for care packages.

All items for the 2010 Holiday Drive must be delivered between September 8 and December 4, 2010.

For the 2011 Patriotic Drive, all items must be delivered between March 1 and May 5, 2011.

Shipping Details

All items must be shipped or delivered between September 8 and December 4 and from March 1 to May 5 to:

Operation Gratitude/California Army National Guard
17330 Victory Boulevard
Van Nuys, California 91406
ATTN: Charlie Othold

UPS, USPS, FedEx and DHL can deliver anytime during Military working hours.

If shipping by freight company, the National Guard Armory has strict security procedures and it is therefore critical that your shipping company contact Operation Gratitude to arrange delivery, as the Armory will not allow their entry onto the property otherwise.

If shipping more than one carton, write the total number of cartons on each carton and the number of the particular carton out of the total (eg. “2 of 4”)

If you would like to receive an acknowledgment for donated items, please include your name and email or mailing address inside the shipment. Operation Gratitude will send acknowledgments within three months.

About Operation Gratitude

Founded in March, 2003, Operation Gratitude is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that annually sends 100,000+ care packages to U.S. troops deployed overseas. Its mission is to lift morale, bring a smile to a service member's face and to express to all troops the appreciation and support of the American people. To date, Operation Gratitude has sent more than 520,000 care packages to individually named troops in hostile regions such as Iraq, Afghanistan and onto ships all over the world. Operation Gratitude welcomes donations of all products in furtherance of its mission to support the Military. The organization reserves the right to determine the appropriate use of each donated item, including but not limited to inclusion in care packages, donation to Military bases or other charities, and/or for fundraising or volunteer appreciation purposes. For legal and security reasons, Operation Gratitude is not at liberty to provide or disclose the names and addresses of service members. For additional information, please email OpGrat@gmail.com.
