Dentyne, Stride Get Updates
Cadbury North America, a division of Kraft Foods, Inc., debuts two gum lines focused on functionality and innovation.
Dentyne Pure is said to be the first product in the gum category to contain NeutraFresh, a proprietary blend that has been shown to drastically reduce bad breath odors. With a SRP of $1.29, Mint With Melon Accents and Mint With Herbal Accents varieties ship in 10-ct displays that pack 18 per case. Mixed Dentyne Ice and Pure floorstands and counter units will be available in February 2011, according to the company.
Also new from the company is Stride Shift, flavor changing gum in two flavors: Berry-to-Mint and Citrus-to-Mint. The gum carries a SRP of $1.49 and packs come 12 per display shipping in 12-ct master cases.
Lindt & Sprüngli (USA) Inc.
Lindt Intros Hazelnut Truffles
New from Lindt & Sprüngli (USA) Inc. are milk chocolate-covered Lindor Hazelnut truffles. In 5.1-ounce standup bags, the truffles have a SRP of $5.99 and ship 12 per case and in 48-ct shippers.
Jelly Belly Candy Co.
Beans Pack In New Boxes, Canisters, Bags
Updating its line of gift boxes, Jelly Belly Candy Co. is now offering redesigned graphics and larger sizes for its 20-, 40- and 50-flavor packs.
The 40-flavor gift boxes, holding 17 ounces of assorted jelly beans, are now in a larger format. They ship five per case and have a SRP of $17.99.
The 50-flavor gift boxes hold 21 ounces. With a SRP of $19.99, they ship six per case.
Jelly Belly 20-flavor boxes are now larger and square-shaped, holding 8.5 ounces and shipping 10 per case. They have a SRP of $9.99 and ship 10 per case.
The company is also adding two-pound plastic canisters of assorted beans. Jelly Belly Clear Cans hold a 40-flavor mix of beans with a SRP of $26.99. The clear containers feature a red lid and ship six per case.
Standup reclosable bags hold Sunkist Fruit Gems. In assorted fruit flavors, the chewy candies come in two-pound pouches with a SRP of $18.99. They ship eight per case.
Koko’s Confectionery & Novelty
Koko’s Extends X-treem Lock Jaw
New from Koko’s Confectionery & Novelty are X-treem Lock Jaw Spray Pops and Fun Mix.
The spray pops feature 0.56 ounces of candy in blue raspberry, cherry and lemon. The lollipop swivels to dispense the candy spray. Packing with blister cards, the pops come in 15-ct displays that pack six per case. They have a SRP of 99 cents.
Also added to the line is X-treem Lock Jaw Fun Mix, a seven-ct, 1.22-ounce mix of sour hard candy, lollipop, gum and spray candy.
With a SRP of 99 cents, 16-ct displays ship six per case.
