Orlando — The Kellogg Co. is the recipient of the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF)’s 2013 Jackie B. Trujillo Award for outstanding Standard-Setters for Opportunity, Advancement and Recognition (SOAR) of women.
The SOAR award, sponsored by Yum! Brands, Inc. is given annually to a foodservice company “that is supremely dedicated to attracting, educating and promoting women to the highest positions in the organization,” WFF reports.
Kellogg currently has 13 diversity and inclusion councils and an employee resource group specifically for women.
WFF adds: “Kellogg is committed to providing development opportunities aimed at preparing women for top leadership positions across the company and building a pipeline of multicultural talent that mirrors the diversity of its customers.”
WFF presented Kellogg with the award at its Annual Leadership Development Conference in Dallas.
