Lindt Supports Autism Speaks

Stratham, NH — Lindt & Sprungli USA will host promotional fundraisers throughout the Easter season to raise $115,000 for Autism Speaks, the company reports.

Lindt has pledged to donate 10 cents to Autism Speaks any time a Lindt Gold Bunny is purchased in the U.S. The bunny is available in white, milk and dark chocolate in five sizes.

From March 11-27, Pinterest users can create Easter-themed Pinterest boards that feature at least one Gold Bunny and once 1,000 fans participate, Lindt will give $10,000 to Autism Speaks. Pin 2 Win Challenge contributors will also be eligible to win a gift basket of $100 in Lindt items and a Michael’s craft store gift card.

In another online fundraiser, Lindt has promised to donate one dollar, up to $5,000, every time a free Lindt Easter e-card is sent from LindtGoldBunny.com.

On March 5 and 6, five percent of sales from Lindt Chocolate RSVP at-home chocolate parties will support Autism Speaks. In another event on March 5, celebrity-autographed porcelain versions of the Gold Bunny will be auctioned off at the fourth annual Lindt Gold Bunny Celebrity Auction and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Autism Speaks. Finally, on March 12, 15 percent of the day&rsquos sales at the Lindt Chocolate Shop in Princeton, NJ will be donated to the organization.

President and CEO Thomas Linemayr says: “Through our partnership with Autism Speaks, Lindt will have raised more than $600,000 for the organization by the end of 2013 with the help of our iconic Lindt Gold Bunny and the participation of our loyal customers.”
