Lindt Adds Wasabi, Strawberry Chocolate To Line

Stratham, NH — Wasabi, caramel and strawberry chocolates are making their debut from Lindt & Sprungli USA, Inc. and the company has also announced a Valentine's Day sweepstakes.

Lindt is introducing two varieties of its 3.5-ounce, 47 percent cocoa dark chocolate bars under its Excellence line. The company says Excellence Wasabi has an intense aroma and a touch of wasabi flavor. Excellence Strawberry has a fruit aroma and strawberry inclusions, according to Lindt. Both bars have SRPs of $2.59. Carrying a SRP of $3.99, Lindor Caramels are truffles with a caramel center, enrobed in caramel-flavored chocolate, the company says.

Whether consumers are looking for a unique spice, a harmony of sweet strawberries or a classical caramel flavor, the wasabi, strawberry and caramel flavors are delicious every day indulgences.”

In addition to its new chocolates, the company is also launching a Facebook campaign. In the Send the Love sweepstakes, Facebook users can make free, personalized e-cards from February 1 to10 for a chance to win one of 10 Valentine’s Day chocolate gift baskets. Valued at $75, the baskets can be sent to the e-card recipient or winners can keep them for themselves.
