CVS Revamps Private Label Brand Line
Woonsocket, RI — A new brand identity, higher taste standards and front-of-pack nutritional labels are among the changes CVS Caremark Corp. has made to its Gold Emblem private label brand line.
Pistachios, gummi bears, peanut butter pretzels, cookies, trail mix, cheese crackers and peanut butter cups are among the 250 items that have calorie, saturated fat, sodium and sugar content indications on the front of their packs. The items meet a refined taste test-approval and have a new identity that features high-resolution, blown-up images of the naked product on packaging.
CVS Senior Vice-President of Merchandising Judy Sansone explains: “We have reintroduced our Gold Emblem brand with enhanced ingredients, new recipes and an updated design and packaging.”
