Nestle Builds Visitors Center On Original Company Site
Vevey — Nestle’s original administrative building, former factory and bakery in Vevey, Switzerland, are being renovated in to a visitor’s center, which will open to the public in 2016, marking the company's 150th anniversary.
CEO Paul Bulcke says: “This new center, located on Nestle’s original site, marks our historical roots in Vevey and Switzerland. From a small manufacturer of an innovative product, Nestle has become, in 150 years, the world’s leading nutrition, health and wellness company, employing more than 330,000 people worldwide.”
The new center will feature a restaurant, recreation area, and special exhibits to share Nestle’s past, present and future activities.
