Wonka Store Opens in Hollywood
Hollywood, CA — The second Willy Wonka-themed store, called Sweet! Hollywood, has opened, according to Wonka's parent company, Nestlé USA.
The retail emporium features 12 boutiques, each with a different theme, Nestlé reports. Visitors will have the chance to build custom chocolate bars, take personal tasting tours, play candy games and climb the musical piano key stairs. The store includes live candy-making demonstrations, a Yucky shop full of gross-out treats and the Stay Puft boutique, which is a room of wall-to-wall marshmallows. There is also a 700-foot gumball track that uses a red Ferrari to propel the gumballs, according to the company. Sweet! Hollywood will also feature many exclusive candy concepts, apparel and souvenirs.
The store exclusively features the Wonka Inventing Room Collection, which is made up of four premium handmade chocolate truffle collections.
Tricia Bowles, Wonka spokesperson, describes the inventing room as "a new artisan chocolate collection that captures the whimsy and wonder of Willy Wonka's fantastic adventures around the world."
