Pork Rind Manufacturer Supports Needy NFL Retirees
Lima, OH — Rudolph Foods Co., Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of pork rinds, will offer financial support to Gridiron Greats, an organization that provides medical and financial assistance to former NFL players in need.
As part of the campaign, the company says it will donate 10 cents to the organization for every item it sells until its Second Annual Pork Rind Appreciation Day on Super Bowl Sunday, totaling up to $10,000.
Rudolph invites the public to visit its website to watch videos from NFL Hall of Famers, join Twitter chats, offer support to Gridiron Greats and enter to win a Super Bowl party, which will include sandwiches, pork rinds, a 50-inch plasma TV and a personalized video from an NFL legend.
Mark Singleton, vice-president of sales and marketing, says: “There are few things more American than pork rinds and the big game. As a family-owned company ourselves, Rudolph Foods is proud to lead other football-loving families in the support of Gridiron Greats.”
