NCA To Host Presentations In New York, Chicago

Washington, DC — The NCA will host Sweet Insights presentations and networking receptions in New York City on November 8, and in Chicago on November 15. The events will discuss chocolate and its role in the retail environment, and are open to all NCA members.

Larry Wilson, NCA vice-president of customer relations, will deliver insights on the chocolate consumer, shopper and category, chocolate's channel and category performance, and successful practices to drive sales and profitability.

The New York event will be held at the W Hotel at Union Square from 3 to 5 p.m. The networking reception will take place at the Max Brenner: Chocolate by the Bald Man chocolate shop on Broadway Ave. from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The Chicago seminar will be held at the Ritz Carlton at Water Tower Place from 3 to 5 p.m., followed by a reception at Candyality from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Wilson says: “It's an opportunity for NCA members to blend knowledge, networking and fun in an interesting setting that captures the imagination of the category.”
