Wonderful Pistachios Debuts Fresh Commercials

Los Angeles — Wonderful Pistachios’ new Get Crackin’ ad campaign features The Village People and Brobee from the Yo Gabba Gabba television show.

The campaign, now in its fourth year, debuted the commercials during the primetime television shows Survivor and X-Factor.

A 3D Frankenweenie spot is running in movie theaters leading up to the film’s release on October 5.

The company reports the commercials cost around $30 million to produce.

Mark Masten, vice-president of global sales and marketing, Paramount Farms, says: “Our research shows that consumers enjoy eating and sharing pistachios with others. Just like pistachios, our ads are also tremendously social - and with close to 12 million views of our past commercials on YouTube, we wanted to be sure to create new spots that people want to see, and share.”

The company is expected to launch five more commercials later this fall featuring personalities from the world of music, sports and technology.
