Walkers Shortbread Partnering With ASPCA
Hauppauge, NY — Scotland-based manufacturer Walkers Shortbread, Inc. has teamed up with The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) to support animal welfare.
The company says it will donate 10 cents to the ASPCA from the sale of every pack of Scottie Dog products sold in the U.S., guaranteeing a minimum $25,000 donation.
The 3.9-ounce shortbread packs have a SRP of $4.19 and ship 12 boxes per case. The 7.8-ounce special edition Scottie Dog Tins contain 18 dog-shaped shortbread cookies and have a SRP of $14.99 and ship 12 per case. Both products are available individually and in bulk on the company's website.
Managing director Jim Walker says: “Walkers is dedicated to helping the ASPCA raise awareness of the issues of animal cruelty and homelessness and will support the valuable work they do for animals across the U.S.”
