Pepperidge Farm Opens Innovation Center
Norwalk, CT — An innovation center aimed at driving continued growth in Pepperidge Farm, Inc.’s Global Baking and Snacking portfolio has opened at a cost of some $30 million at the company’s headquarters, according to its parent company, the Campbell Soup Co.
Campbell Soup President and CEO Denise Morrison says: “Campbell is committed to driving sustainable, profitable net sales growth through consumer-focused innovation. This new building is a visible recognition of Pepperidge Farm's long history of successful innovation, as well as our commitment to delivering the next generation of new products for consumers.”
With a curved glass exterior, the building features a modern design. Inside is a state-of-the-art pilot plant with product development and testing lines, culinary kitchens, scientific labs and meeting rooms. The structure connects to the main building through a glass-enclosed internal walkway.
