Lentil Chips Are Gluten Free
Boonton, NJ — Baked Lentil Chips now carry the Gluten-Free Certification logo, the Mediterranean Snack Food Co., LLC says, adding the move brings the number of its product lines that carry the seal to three.
The company claims the chips, which contain lentils, garbanzo and adzuki beans, are low in fat and have 100 calories per serving. They join HummuZ Crispz and Lentil Crackers in carrying the gluten-free seal.
Vincent P. James, founder and CEO, says: “We are so pleased to achieve Gluten-Free Certification for our flagship product and to be able to say that we offer three unique Gluten-Free Certified snacks that are nutritious, flavorful and support a healthy, active lifestyle. We’re proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish: Snacks that have a top-notch nutritional profile, leave you feeling satisfied and taste great.”
