Street Name Honors Mars

Hackettstown, NJ — Recognizing Mars Chocolate North America’s contributions to the community, Hackettstown says it will rename a portion of High Street in October.

The honorary Mars name is being chosen through an online poll, the city explains. Through August 6, consumers can visit hackettstownbid.com to vote for names including Mars Chocolate Way, Avenue of the M&M's, Mars Chocolate Avenue and Mars Chocolate Boulevard.

Leslie Veneziano, corporate affairs, Mars Chocolate North America, says: “We are really excited to invite our associates and the Hackettstown community to help select the honorary street name where our facility is located by casting their votes online. We have been a proud member of the community for more than 54 years and to be recognized for our contributions by Mayor Maria DiGiovanni is an honor.”
