Mosaics Feature Jack Link’s Jerky
Minong, WI — Featuring Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, mosaic portraits of President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have joined Sasquatch in Jack Link Snacks, Inc.’s collection.
The company says artist Jason Mecier used 50 bags of product per mosaic and spent about 50 hours on each portrait.
As part of its Messin’ With Sasquatch campaign, the company is asking consumers to visit jacklinks.com/meatheads to vote for their favorite “meathead” for a chance to win a $5,000 prize.
Jeff LeFever, director of marketing, says: “For years, political and cultural figures have earned the distinction of having their likenesses preserved for all time using the artistic medium of the day. In the light-hearted spirit of the brand, we commissioned artworks that used jerky instead of paint. Now, Jack Link’s asks all Americans, ‘Which meathead will you vote for?’”
