San Francisco — A trio of chocolate bars celebrate the San Francisco heritage of musical group Train and Ghirardelli Chocolate Co., the company says.
Train says it will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the first run of “Save Me, San Francisco” premium chocolate bars to Family House, a nonprofit that provides housing assistance to families of seriously ill children.
Singer Pat Monahan says: “We honor our San Francisco roots and help a great Bay Area charity at the same time. Partnering with Ghirardelli on the ‘Save Me, San Francisco’ chocolate is a dream come true.”
The limited-edition, 3.5-ounce bars come in three varieties: Dark Cabernet, sea salt almond and 72% cacao dark chocolate. With a SRP of $4.35, they are available at Ghirardelli retail locations and online at [2] ghirardelli.com and [3] savemesanfrancisco.com.
