Frito-Lay Reports Q2 Revenue Growth

Plano, TX — Organic net revenue increased four percent in the second quarter compared with the same period in 2011, while reported net revenue grew three percent, according to Frito-Lay North America, Inc.

The company says channel growth was particularly strong in c-store, club, dollar and foodservice, driven by effective net pricing and disciplined channel revenue management strategies.

Further, operating profit growth of one percent during the same period reflected net revenue growth and productivity gains, which were offset by commodity cost inflation and increased marketing investments.
