Farley’s, Ferrara Pan Complete Merger

Forest Park, IL — Farley’s & Sathers Candy Co., Inc. and Ferrara Pan Candy Co., Inc. have merged to establish Ferrara Candy Co., Inc.

Sal Ferrara II, chairman and CEO of the new company, says: “The new Ferrara Candy Co. will offer a robust portfolio of branded and private label confections that consumers love, from Lemonheads and Red Hots to Trolli, Brach’s, and Now and Later.”

Farley’s & Sathers owner Catterton Partners, a private equity firm, is the majority investor in the combined company.

Catterton Managing Partner Scott Dahnke says: “As shareholders, we look forward to the significant upside that will result through this compelling combination.”

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
