Cavanna Plans U.S. Open House

Duluth, GA — Cavanna Packaging USA Inc. is opening its new Duluth, GA, factory to customers May 21 to 25.

Among the technologies to be on display are a new, high-speed transfer system; creaming machines; wrapping systems; and new operator interface technology. Tours and demonstrations are available by appointment.

The company has hired 14 experienced engineers during the past year and has plans to hire more during the coming year, sales manager Bill Kehrli reveals.

Cavanna’s goal in opening the plant is to meet market demand by increasing production capacity, grow the company’s market presence and serve its North American customers better than it had been able to do from Europe, Kehrli says.

Duluth was chosen for its proximity to major airports and customers’ factories, as well as a sizeable pool of experienced engineers, the company says.
