Walker Tins Celebrate Queen’s Jubilee

Hauppauge, NY — In celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’ Diamond Jubilee, which honors her 60-year reign, Walker Shortbread, Inc. is releasing special edition cookie tins.

The packs feature the Queen’s image, incorporate her Diamond Jubilee emblem and the graphics were designed by 10-year-old Katherine Dewar from Chester, England, according to the company. Dewar's design was chosen from 35,000 submissions received through a competition hosted by Buckingham Palace and the BBC’s Blue Peter program.

Each 15.8-ounce tin holds a mix of 27 cookies.
