Callebaut Debuts Cameroon Cocoa Items At ISM
Cologne, Germany — Chocolates and cocoa powders made from Cameroon-sourced beans are being introduced by Barry Callebaut AG at ISM.
The milk chocolates are made using a special fermentation process and premium red cocoa, the company says.
The beans are sourced from farms that take part in Callebaut’s quality partner program (QPP). The program aims to rejuvenate the cocoa-growing industry in Cameroon through good agricultural practices, usage of sustainable production, and harvesting and post-harvest management practices.
