Glendale, CA — Nestlé USA, Inc. is donating up to $250,000 to Reading Is Fundamental, a nonprofit children’s literacy organization, as part of its new Nestlé Share The Joy of Reading program.

Through December, consumers can enter codes found on select Nestlé product packs at celebrationcorner.com/RIF to register for a monthly $5,000 cash drawing and a chance to instantly win a $10 book certificate. Nestlé says it will donate 10 cents to the literacy group each time an instant win prize is claimed. Promotional codes can be found in specially marked bags of Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, 100 Grand, SweeTarts, Nerds, Crunch, Laffy Taffy, Mixups and Butterfinger Crisp.

The supplier launched the program this week with Access Hollywood correspondent Maria Menounos, who read to children this week at the Los Angeles Public Library’s Robertson Branch in honor of National Literacy Month.
