Meijer Offers Mobile Couponing

Grand Rapids, MI — Shoppers at retail chain Meijer, Inc. can now redeem national and store brand coupons instantly with their mobile phones at checkout.

Through the chain’s mPerks program, members can use the online tool to select digital coupons from the retailers’ microsite. The members enter a mobile phone number which transfers the stored coupon data from their mobile devices to the register scanners.

Frank Guglielmi, Meijer’s director of public relations, says: “No more clipping or printing of coupons. This is a faster and easier way to save money.”
