NASFT Honors Longtime Members
New York — Byrd Cookie Co., a cookie supplier, and food marketing firm Sopexa USA were recognized for being members of the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) for 50 consecutive years.
“The specialty food industry has been built by companies such as these that have been on the forefront for years,” says Ann Daw, NASFT president.
Both companies received plaques at a presentation ceremony during the Summer Fancy Food Show, and another 16 companies were recognized for 25-year memberships.
NASFT was founded in 1952 and today has 2,900 member companies in the U.S. and abroad.
