Hershey Event Hosts Olympic Winners

Hershey, PA — Three U.S. Olympic legends will join The Hershey Co. at its 33rd annual Hershey’s Track & Field Games North American Final Meet, held August 7 on the Milton Hershey School campus.

An estimated 450 athletes ages 9 to 14 will participate in the free event, which has given several Olympic athletes their start, the company says. This year’s attendees will have the chance to meet two-time Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards, nine-time gold medalist Carl Lewis and Rafer Johnson, who won a decathlon gold medal at the 1960 Games in Rome.

Youth athletes will visit a Hershey manufacturing plant, Hershey’s Chocolate World and the Hersheypark entertainment complex, according to the company.
