Chocolatiers To Compete In Vegas

Zurich — Seven chocolatiers and pastry chefs will compete this year in Barry Callebaut AG’s World Chocolate Masters competition in Las Vegas.

Held during the International Baking Industry Exposition, September 27 and 28, the event will award one winner a chance to vie for the top title at the 2011 World Chocolate Masters event in Paris and battle chefs from 20 countries.

This year’s theme is “Cocoa, Quetzalcoatl’s Gift,” with contest entries designed to pay tribute to the discovery of cocoa in the South American rain forest.
