McAuliffe Speaks At NCA Forum

Washington, DC — Top politico Terry McAuliffe will speak at the NCA’s annual forum, held September 29 to October 1 at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, DC.

McAuliffe, former chairman of the Democratic National Committee and chairman of Hillary Clinton for President, will appear during the forum’s keynote address with Ed Gillespie, former chairman of the Republican National Committee and former Counselor to President George W. Bush.

Other top speakers will include Bernadette Budde, senior vice-president of the Business Industry Political Action Committee, who will give attendees an in-depth tutorial on the current political landscape.

NCA representatives Alison Bodor, senior vice-president of public policy and advocacy; Patrick Aylward, vice-president of government affairs; and Christopher Coleman, director of government affairs, will provide updates on the latest topics affecting the industry.

The forum will focus on the sugar policy, Washington's goals of reducing childhood obesity, and legislative updates on food safety, child nutrition and other bills. The event will also cover what’s happening in state capitals, including candy taxes.
