Kyle Busch, Mars Partner For Hunger Relief
Hackettstown, NJ — Generating awareness for its Bar Hunger cause marketing campaign, Mars Chocolate North America put NASCAR driver Kyle Busch behind the wheel of a special Snickers Bar Hunger No. 18 Toyota during the Lifelock.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway on July 10.
Busch also visited Feeding America, the non-profit hunger relief organization's national headquarters while in Chicago.
In the name of its Snickers brand, the company kicked off its annual Bar Hunger campaign by making a baseline donation of the equivalent of two and a half million meals to Feeding America. Consumers can participate by texting a code from specially-marked Snickers wrappers to 45495 or enter the code online at www.SNICKERS.com. SNICKERS will donate the equivalent of one additional meal to Feeding America for every wrapper code that is collected - up to one million meals. The specially-marked SNICKERS wrappers also include information on hunger in America.
”We're grateful for the support,“said Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America. “Campaigns such as Bar Hunger are critical because they not only provide meals to help us support Americans in need, but they also raise the volume on the issue, helping to inspire Americans to help.”
