Executive Director Silverman To Leave NRF
Washington, DC — Scott Silverman, executive director for the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Shop.org, is resigning his position effective August 13.
According to the NRF, Silverman is taking an executive-level position as co-founder of an e-commerce start-up.
NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay will work with executive committee members on Shop.org's board of directors to select Silverman's replacement, the researcher says.
Silverman joined the NRF in 1999, moving up the ranks to become executive director in 2001. He had worked to develop and execute the organization's strategies and key programs.
