Canadian Snack Maker Moves To U.S.
Brampton, Ontario — Saratoga Potato Chips LLC is relocating its operations to Fort Wayne, IN, investing $4.9 million in its new 138,000-square-foot facility.
The 22-year old maker of kettle chips and popcorn says it expects the plant to be at full capacity later this year. “Saratoga’s Indiana headquarters gives us closer proximity to our U.S. customers, many of which are located in the Midwest,” explains Peter Margie, president and CEO.
The company says about 175 jobs will be filled, with hiring of production, management and administrative positions to begin soon.
