Two Lightly Salted Varieties Debut

Plano, TX — Two varieties of Lightly Salted chips are new from Frito-Lay North America, Inc.

Fritos Lightly Salted corn chips and Ruffles Lightly Salted potato chips were developed in response to high consumer demand for products made with less sodium, according to the company. They contain 50 percent less sodium per serving compared with their original counterparts, Frito-Lay reports.

Ruffles Lightly Salted 10.5-ounce bags have a SRP of $3.99, shipping 12 per case. With a SRP of $2.99, 9.25-ounce bags of Fritos Lightly Salted chips ship 11 per case.
