Sour Power Facebook Page Unveiled
Nanuet, NY — To celebrate its Sour Power brand’s 25th anniversary, Dorval Trading Co., Ltd. has launched a fan page for the candy on the social media site Facebook.
The company notes the 1985 debut of the brand is widely cited as helping ignite the sour craze in the U.S. The Facebook page has been designed as a place where consumers can share comments about their favorite flavors and varieties, and learn of any brand-related promotions or events.
In addition to Sour Power individually wrapped belts, tub and bulk options, Dorval offers new Sour Power Sortz — sour-sanded candy straws with colors derived from natural fruit and plant extracts.
President Roberta Cappel says the company is consistently focused on innovations for its Sour Power confectionery lineup.
“We are proud of this milestone for the Sour Power brand,” she states, “and look forward to continuing to invigorate the category for many more years to come.”
