Chocolate Council Video Stars Chef
Washington, DC — In a new video from the NCA’s Chocolate Council, Chef and Chocolatier Jacques Torres discusses how chocolate is made.
Wearing an NCA-branded chef’s coat, Torres explains the transformation of cacao pods to more familiar forms, such as cocoa liqueur and solid milk, dark and white chocolate. Torres, a 30-year veteran of the confectionery industry, opened Jacques Torres Chocolate Haven, a Manhattan chocolate factory, in 2004.
The video is available at the NCA’s official blog, Candy Dish Blog.
