Baby Bottle Pop Site Gets Update
New York — Games, videos and a new name, Baby Bottle Pop Backstage Pass, will enhance babybottlepop.com in March, supported by pack updates and advertising, according to Ari Weinstock, director of marketing for Bazooka Candy Brands, a division of The Topps Co., Inc..
The site is the home of the company’s Baby Bottle Pop Message In A Bottle promotion, which allows consumers to enter codes from Baby Bottle Pops online, design their own avatars and virtual beachfront properties, send messages to other users, and unlock exclusive content, Weinstock explains.
“In 2010, we’re looking at a complete site overhaul,” he says. “We’re going to add a lot of new elements that are going to extend the program.”
Updated graphics and new interactive games will be available on the site. The product was successful on its own, he says, but the site has given it an added entertainment value for consumers.
“They’ve always loved Baby Bottle Pop, but now there’s another reason they’re looking at it and wanting to buy it and participate,” he says. “This is something that has captured consumer interest.”
